What an absolute honor it was to stand alongside so many inspiring women at the 2nd Annual FIERCE100 Women’s Conference! It’s hard to put into words just how magical those two days were—bursting with knowledge, laughter, tears, and the unshakable energy that only happens when empowered women come together to empower one another.

A Celebration of Courage and Connection
The event kicked off Thursday night at Vera Cruz East with an incredible Happy Hour. DJ Marco Polo kept us dancing the night away, proving that the only thing better than celebrating women’s successes is doing it with a great soundtrack!
Friday morning began on a truly special note, with 12-year-old Arden Whitlow reading Austin Mayor Kirk Watson’s proclamation of November 8, 2024, as FIERCE Day. What an incredible reminder that courage knows no age and that leadership begins early.
Later that day, everyone was blown away by the stories shared in The Future of FIERCE session. Lola Selberg, Sydney Hill, and Alex Tedeschi joined Rebecca Cahak on stage to talk about the bold moves they’ve already made at such young ages—and their plans to continue investing in young girls and women. Hearing their vision reminded us all of the importance of paving the way for the next generation of leaders.
Knowledge Bombs and Timeless Lessons
Throughout the conference, women from all walks of life shared insights, stories, and advice that resonated deeply. Here are just a few of the powerful takeaways:
- Megan Kelley delivered a memorable quote that will stay with me for years to come:
“Don’t delay a decision on something that will ultimately become inevitable for you. If you ignore the whispers, it is only a matter of time before you must obey the screams.”
- During the C-Suite panel, Joyce Durst gave a piece of advice that struck a chord with many of us:
“Stop focusing on the metrics. Focus on the people.”
As someone who firmly believes that leadership is about empowering others, I found her words to be both validating and inspiring.
- Kimberly Victoria, a financial strategist, shared this ultimate truth:
“The best investment you can make is in yourself. Start today!”
From actionable career strategies to life-changing insights, every moment of the conference felt like an opportunity to grow and evolve.

Whether it was Brook Nichol’s brilliant advice about hormone health or Abigail Maines’ guidance on adopting the FIERCE mindset, each speaker offered actionable steps to help us elevate ourselves personally and professionally.
Even as we absorbed these lessons, it was clear that the FIERCE mission—Females in Every Role Changes Everything—aligns perfectly with Elevate for Women’s commitment to lifting women to new heights and unlocking the secrets to career elevation.
